Smile Everyday

Happy Thursday friends.  I hope you're having a wonderful week so far.  Only one more day till the weekend ... yay!

I have used this sweet Sitting Wonderful Anya today and doesn't she have a beautiful smile on her face?  She must be happy that the weekend is almost here too lol!  I colored her with copics and colored pencils.  I fussy cut her and matted her on some text paper and hopefully it looks like she's sitting on the ribbon.  The adorable diecut flower was made using one of TGF's new die/clear stamp sets - Mini Fleurs.  The sentiment also comes with the clear stamp set.  I love that the sentiment is included because you can never have too many sentiment stamps, right?  Now, if you haven't stopped by the Greeting Farm Blog this week, you may want to hop over there.  They're previewing the latest release and you don't want to miss all the gorgeous inspiration taking place over there!

Thanks for stopping by ... and remember ... Smile Everyday!

Hugs, Anita

Easter Blessings

Happy Wednesday to all of you!  Today over on the All That Scraps Blog the DT is sharing some new makes using the fabulous February release.

I used this cute Sweet November Hershel to make an Easter card.  Easter comes a little early this year so don't wait till the last minute to get started on your cards :)  He's colored with copics and colored pencils.  The sentiment is from Eggstra Special Sentiments by AmyR Stamps, and the fence was cut using the CC Designs Cutters Four Seasons Fence Die.  I added a few buttons to finish my card.  This card will be going in the mail so I didn't want it to be too bulky ... and buttons seem to be my normal embellishment for male cards lol!  Be sure to stop by the All That Scraps Blog to see what the rest of the DT has created this week.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

Birdhouse Brian

Hello sweet friends!  It's Inspiration Tuesday over on the By LORi Designs Blog.  Lori has a new collection of sweet images called the Pedal Pushers and I've used one of them on my card today.

This handsome guy is Birdhouse Brian ... isn't he a cutie?  Looks like he's getting ready for spring and the return of the birdies.  Actually, it looks like he already has one tenant and he hasn't even hung up his new birdhouse yet lol!  I colored the image with copics and colored pencils.  The little clipbord is a new die I picked up at my LSS.  I added some buttons and a strip of washi tape.  Can you believe this is the very first time I've used washi tape?  I have several rolls of it, I just never quite know what to do with it.  The sentiment is from Lori's Everyday Sentiments II set.  Be sure to stop by the By LORi Designs Blog to see what the rest of this amazing DT is sharing today.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hello and happy Sunday sweet friends!  I hope you're having a wonderful weekend.  Have you seen the Splitcoast Crew Love Fest over on Splitcoaststampers?

Today the Love Fest is being sponsored by The Greeting Farm and the challenge theme is "A Love To Die For".  I used this sweet and adorable Lovey Bean for my card and I also used one of our new stamp/die clear sets - Mini Cupcakes with Die.  Both of these sets are out of stock at the moment but I'm sure Marie will have them restocked shortly.  I colored Lovey Bean with copics and colored pencils and added some Glamour Dust to her flowers and wings.  I stamped the cupcake with distress inks.  The sentiment is included in the Mini Cupcakes with Die clear stamp.

Hello friends!  I know that Valentine's Day has come and gone but I wanted to share the Valentine card I made for my grandson.

This adorable image is Doodle Garden I'm Raptor Round Your Finger.  I have to say that I am loving the new Doodle Garden collection over at My Favorite Things Stamps ... they're so sweet!  I colored this cutie with copics and colored pencils and used some Glamour Dust on the hearts.  I don't normally use glitter on male cards but my grandson is only 7 so I thought I could get away with it :)  I used the MFT Die-namics Fishtail Flags Layers Stax to cut out the fishtail banner.  The little tag and heart were cut using the MFT Notched Tag Die & Stamp set.  I'm using the sketch from the MFT Guest Designer Contest over at SplitcoastStampers.

Good morning friends.  I hope you've been enjoying your weekend so far.  Today I have one of the sweet new Sugar Nellie Vintage Adorables.

This little cutie is Vintage Adorable - Amber.  You can find Amber and her lovely friends over at Funky Kits.  I colored Amber with copics and colored pencils and then matted her on a Nestabilities scalloped circle.  My papers are Blush by MME.  I've had these papers quite awhile and I've been trying to make an effort to use up some of my stash (instead of hoarding it lol).  I added a seam binding bow and some diecut flowers with pearls.  I also used some Liquid Pearls in the flowers in her hair.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Guest Designer For OOZAK

( ** Please scroll down for The Greeting Farm Blog Hop ** )

Hello again sweet friends.  Today I have the privilege of being a Guest Designer on the OOZAK Challenge Blog.  Their current challenge is "Anything Goes" using your favorite color combo!  Well, you can't get any easier than that, right?

I decided to use two things that I haven't used in forever ... a Tilda stamp and my distress inks.  This sweet little Tilda is called Tilda With Big Ice Cream from Magnolia's "With Love" Collection.  You can find this collection in the OOZAK shop.  So as I mentioned, I colored her with distress inks.  I love the very soft, pale colors that most people achieve with their inks but as you can see, I haven't mastered that technique yet lol!  I always plan to color in pale hues but my colors always end up much brighter than I planned.  But that's OK, I still love using my DIs :)  I guess you can tell that my favorite color combo is shades of pinks & blues?  I followed the current sketch over at Crafting Life's Pieces.  I embellished my card with a doily, lace, seam binding, cupcake button, punched flowers, diecut butterfly, and pearls.  There's still plenty of time to enter the OOZAK challenge so head over to their blog to find all the details.  Thank you,  Melanie and OOZAK, for letting me play along with you this month!

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!  Be sure to scroll down if you want to play along in The Greeting Farm's Blog Hop.

A Retro Challenge at The Greeting Farm

( ** Please scroll down for my All That Scraps post **)

Good morning friends.  Today over on the Greeting Farm Blog we have a new Retro Challenge!  This month our lovely Rosie chose our theme for the challenge and she chose "Hearts Galore".

I used Miss Anya Dressy and colored her with copics and colored pencils.  I had this paper left over from last year's Valentine papers.  It has my favorite colors and the flower petals are all hearts so I thought it would work perfectly with this sweet Anya.  The little tag was cut from the same paper pad and I just stamped my sentiment on the tag and added a little bow.  I also used some Glamour Dust on the centers of the flowers.  OK, so to play along and enter our Retro Challenge, you need to use a Greeting Farm stamp that's 6 months or older and be sure you add lots of hearts to your project!  Easy, right?  And of course there's a chance to win a prize :)  Be sure to stop by the Greeting Farm Blog to see what the rest of this amazing DT created and to find all the challenge details.

Thanks for stopping by.

Oh For Peep's Sake!

Hello friends.  Today I'm sharing an Easter card I made using a couple of the newly released stamps from CC Designs.

I used the Spring Peeps stamp set and colored these chickies with copics and colored pencils.  The little flowers were cut using the CC Designs Cutters Cherry Blossoms Die and I used some Liquid Pearls for the flower centers.  The center of the wagon wheels are silver brads, and the sentiment is from the Webbies Words Spring With A Side Of Chocolate stamp set.  I also used the CC Designs Cutters Butterfly Border Die and the CC Designs Cutters Curly-Q Border Die.

Sweethearts Valentine Treat Bag

( ** Scroll down to see my Greeting Farm post ** )

Hello again!  We have a new inspiration post over on the By LORi Designs Blog.  We're sharing our Valentine and love-themed projects today.

I used this sweet little Sweetheart Valentine - Four (Puddle Jumper Ella) on my project today.  I was in my local Hobby Lobby store a few weeks ago and saw these cute little polka-dot treat bags ... I thought they would be perfect to hold a small Valentine treat for someone special.  I colored the image with copics and colored pencils and then matted her onto some Bazzill cardstock.  I made a topper for the bag with some bright pink bazzill and my Martha Stewart heart border punch.  I wrapped some pretty twine around the bag and attached my Valentine.  All I have left to do is add a treat and it's ready to be given to a friend.

Be sure to stop by the By LORi Designs Blog to see what the rest of the DT is sharing today.  There's a couple more days till Valentine's Day and Lori's got plenty of adorable digis available in her shop.

Good morning, again :)  I recently won a challenge over on the All Beautiful Cards Challenge Blog so Patty invited me to be a guest designer.  They have an inspiration challenge this week and it's ... Candy Hearts!  How sweet is that?

I decided to use this beautiful Saturated Canary image called Hugs and Kisses.  Krista (owner and amazing designer of Saturated Canary) offered this image free on her blog and I was lucky enough to grab it.  But if you didn't get the freebie, you can still purchase this sweetie over in Krista's shop.  I colored her with copics and colored pencils and added Glamour Dust on the heart ruffles.  My papers are by American Crafts and I followed the sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 177
