Feel Better

Happy Thursday friends.  I hope you're having a fabulous week so far.  Only one more day till the weekend ... yay!!!  The card I'm sharing today is one that I made for a magazine publication quite a while back.  The magazine never got published and I forgot that I hadn't shared this card on my blog.  I love this sweet image so I thought I would post it today :)

The image is By LORi Designs' Puddle Jumper Ella's Umbrella - isn't she a cutie?  I colored her with distress inks.  I love coloring with my distress inks but I'm so slow at coloring with them that I don't use them very often :(  I added some clouds, a bow, and a few buttons.  Well, this has made me want to pull out my DIs so I think I'll go have a look around my work desk to see what's calling my name next lol!

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

Bubble, Bubble, Toil and Trouble

Happy Wednesday!  Well, I have another Halloween card to share today and this card was even easier than the one I shared yesterday.

OK, look closely ... no coloring!  Eek!  Can you believe it?  I don't often make cards that have no coloring whatsoever.  But I'm trying to work outside my comfort zone a little :)  I've used the CC Designs Little Blue Button Boo-tiful Sentiments stamp set for my card and cut the sentiment out with my nestabilities.  My papers are Doodlebug and they're left over from last year.  I used the CC Cutters Designs Midnights Magic Potion Dies and then added a few Doodlebug Design sprinkles.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Anita

Inspiration Tuesday at BLD

( ** Please scroll down for my Greeting Farm post ** )

Hello sweet friends.  Today is inspiration Tuesday over on the By LORi Designs Blog so I have a new card to share with you.

I have been trying to build up my stash of Halloween cards so I used Pedal Pusher Ghost Girl on my card today.  I know some of you don't make many Halloween cards but I love making them!  Halloween is my daughter's birthday so that is one of my favorite days of the year.  I also love decorating for Halloween - lots and lots of Halloween goodies :)  Anyway, I colored my image with copics and colored pencils and added a bit of Star Dust Stickles to the candy pieces.  I also added some polka dots to her hair bow with white acrylic paint.  If you need to make some fast and easy Halloween cards then be sure to pick up this image ... there's really not much coloring involved so this card didn't take long at all.  I used a Martha Stewart punch for the spiderweb border and then added a bow.  Be sure to stop by the By LORi Designs Blog to see what the rest of the team is sharing today.

Thanks for stopping by.

I used the lovely Frou Frou Birthday on my card.  I colored her with copics and colored pencils and used some Star Dust Stickles on the packages and the little flower on her dress.  I added a banner with some punched flowers and pearls.  Be sure to stop by the Greeting Farm Blog to see what the rest of the DT made for our new challenge!

Holiday Greetings

( ** Please scroll down for my CC Designs post ** )

Well, I have made another Christmas card.  I posted one a couple of weeks ago and realized it was my first holiday card for this year.  I am way behind so I thought I'd get one more done and added to my stash.

This lovely fairy is Titania.  Of course you don't have to wait until Christmas to use this image.  She would make a perfect birthday card or a card for other occasions too.  I colored her with copics and colored pencils.  I applied lots of Glamour Dust.  I'm sure whoever receives this card will be seeing glitter for many months lol!  I also used some Liquid Pearls around the image and Glossy Accents on the jingle bells.  I added some lace and a lace flower with a pearl brad.  The hanging snowflake is from a Memory Box die and the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.  You can find lots of gorgeous Sugar Nellie fairies over at Funky Kits

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I used Monkey Feet's Smell My Feet on today's card.  I colored these two BFFs with copics and colored pencils and then used some Star Dust Stickles on the stars and candy.  I used the CC Designs Cutter Curly Q Border Die.  The sentiment is Little Blue Button's Boo-tiful Sentiments and I used the Say What? Die to cut out the sentiment.  I added some ribbon and a little ghost charm that I tied on with some floss.  Be sure to stop by the CC Designs Blog to see what the rest of the DT is sharing today.

School Time

Good morning everyone.  Well, this week seems to be flying by and we're already halfway to the weekend ... yeah!  It's that time of year where all the kiddos are heading back to school and the mothers are celebrating lol.  I made my grandson a "going back to school" card and thought I'd post it here on my blog.

I used this adorable By LORi Designs' Puddle Jumper School Time Scotty.  Isn't he handsome?  I sure hope my grandson doesn't have so many books that he needs a wagon :)  I colored Scotty with copics and colored pencils and applied some Glossy Accents on the apple to give it some shine.  The papers are by My Mind's Eye and I cut the A+ from a piece of the dp, matted it, and popped it up on some foam tabs for dimension.  I just picked up these mini rulers at my local HL the other day so I added a ruler for an embellie.  Be sure to stop by the By LORi Designs Digital Stamp shop ... you'll find all sorts of adorable designs to choose from.

Thanks for stopping by.

Howdy!

( ** Please scroll down for my Greeting Farm post ** )

Hello again friends.  It's Tuesday so that means we have a new inspiration post over on the By LORi Designs Blog.

I used this sweet Puddle Jumper Cowboy McCoy and colored him with copics and colored pencils.  I paper-pieced his hat and added some jute ribbon for a rustic look.  It seems like I have lots of this wood-grained paper left in my 6x6 pads and thought it would be perfect for this little cowboy :)  My only other embellishments are some diecut stars.  I think this will be a perfect card to send to my grandson just to say "howdy"!

Be sure to stop by the By LORi Designs Blog to see what the rest of the dt created for the inspiration post.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sweet Wishes To A Sweet You

Good morning everyone.  Today we're starting a new Garden Variety Challenge over on the Greeting Farm Blog.  Our lovely Rachel chose our theme this week and she has selected this gorgeous color palette for us to work with:

I used the Layer Cake Clear Stamp Set for my card today and stamped each of the cake layers with my Versamagic ink pads.  Since this is a clear stamp set it was super easy to line up the cake layers.  I didn't have quite the right shade of green but I'm sure Rachel will forgive me :)  I added some Glamour Dust to the cake platter and the candles for some sparkle.  Be sure to stop by the Greeting Farm Blog to see what the rest of the team created with these beautiful colors!

You're Too Sweet

Happy Monday friends.  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  Mine was very relaxing and I got a lot of things done at home that I've been putting off for quite awhile.  But because I was so busy the time just flew by ... I'm already looking forward to next weekend lol!

Anyway, I did manage to get a card made using one of The Greeting Farm's new releases this month, Birthday Anya 3.  Isn't she a cutie?  I love her pigtails and she's so easy to color.  I used my usual copics and colored pencils to color her and then added some Glamour Dust to the heart in her hair.  I'm still trying to make myself use up some of the papers I've had in my stash awhile.  This dp is My Mind's Eye Dolled Up, and there's not much left in my 6x6 pad :)  I added some ribbon and a bow and then tied on the sentiment with some floss.  Finally, I added a few punched flowers with pearls.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Happy Wednesday everyone!  We're starting a new Retro-Fresh Challenge today over on The Greeting Farm Blog.  For our Retro-Fresh Challenge you must use a TGF stamp that is at least 6 months old and follow the theme for the month.  Our sweet Thanh chose our August theme and she wants to see your birthday creations!

I used the "O & A - My Favorite Things" for my card today.  I don't see this stamp in the shop so it must be retired.  I colored this little sweetie with copics and colored pencils and used some Glamour Dust on all her stars.  I added a bow and a little heart button to finish my card.  Be sure to stop by the Greeting Farm Blog to see what the rest of the team is sharing!  There's a fabulous prize for the random winner of the challenge so I hope you find some time to play along.

Good morning friends!  I apologize for not being around to visit your blogs.  We took a few days off for a family vacation at our favorite lake, but we're back home now.  So I hope to be around to catch up soon :)

Today over on the Greeting Farm Blog we're starting a new Garden Variety Challenge!  Our lovely Jo picked our theme this week and she wants to see you use stickers.

I used the adorable WS Addy on my card today.  She's colored with copics and colored pencils and then I used some Doodlebug Design dp.  I added some ribbon and buttons.  Now I have to admit that stickers aren't normally something that I have in my stash ... but I did run across a couple of packs of cute stickers by Simply Stories a few weeks ago.  I'm so glad I bought them so I could play along this week.  Anyway, I stamped my sentiment on the ticket sticker to finish off my card.

Be sure to pop over to the Greeting Farm Blog to see the great projects by the rest of the DT!  I hope you play along with us this week for a chance to win some yummy (no-calorie) candy.

Have a Bootiful Day

*** Please scroll down for my Greeting Farm post ***

Good morning friends.  Today on the CC Designs Blog we're sharing projects made with the new August stamps.

I used this sweet Swiss Pixie Pumpkin Birgitta ... isn't she adorable?  Looks like she's already dipped into her pumpkin pail and pulled out one of the treats she's collected :)  I colored her with copics and colored pencils and used Glossy Accents on her lollipop.  I used the Tickled Pink Lil Spinks & Spooks Sentiment  to stamp the scary sentiment and spiders.  I used the CC Designs Cutters Curly Q Border and the CC Designs Cutters Corner Banner Die.  The little bats were cut using the CC Designs Cutters Bats Die.

Be sure to drop by the CC Designs Blog to see what the rest of the DT is sharing today -  I know you won't be disappointed.

Holiday Blessings To All

Good morning to all of you!  Today I have a card to share using one of  the new August release stamps by The Greeting Farm.

I would normally have quite a little stash of Christmas cards made by this time of the year ... but this year I have none!  They are some of my favorite cards to make so I'm not sure why I haven't started on them yet.  In any case, I decided to use this Layer Cake Clear Stamp Set for today's card.  Since there was no coloring involved, this card was very fast and easy.  And it made me wonder why I don't make cards like this more often lol!  I simply inked up the different layers of the cake and then I applied some Star Dust Stickles to the heart topper.  My papers are Believe by Bazzill and they're left over from last year.  The sentiment is from the Holiday Blessings Clear Stamp Set.

Thank you for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

GDT over at Creative Creations Challenges

Happy Monday to all of you.  As you may have guessed from the title of my post, I'm a Guest Designer this week over on the Creative Creations Challenges Blog.

When Katrina contacted me about being a GDT on one of their challenges I was so excited until she told me what their challenge is this week.  It's "monochromatic" ... yikes!  Sorry folks, I don't do monochromatic.  I run and hide when anyone even mentions that word lol!  It seems as though everyone I know loves to color with that technique.  So I decided I needed to give it a try and here's my card.

I used "Troublemaker" by Kenny K - I love this image!  I used my copics (the E's of course) and colored pencils.  I found some pearls and ribbons in brown and added those to my card.  So do I love my card?  No ... but I also don't hate it so that's a good sign :)  Now, be sure to stop by the Creative Creations Challenge Blog to see what their team is sharing with you today.  And thank you, Katrina, for inviting me to play along with your team this week!

Thanks for stopping by!

As you've seen from this month's previews, we are going all-out to celebrate with three BIRTHDAY-themed releases and they're all available NOW in the TGF Store!  Whether you want to GO BIG with the new Frou Frou line, classic with Birthday Anya 3, or get 'clearly' creative with the new Birthday cake stackers, there's a little something for everyone this release as we prepare to PARTY!

There will be a few birthday surprises on the Farm this month, so stay tuned, but in order to kick start today's party and this month's fab release, we're celebrating with our DT BLOG hop as usual!

I used the adorable Frou Frou Birthday on my card today.  She's colored with copics and colored pencils and I paper-pieced her dress.  I added some Glamour Dust to the hearts on her dress lace and the presents.  I added a small bow and some flowers with pearls to finish my card.

There's a LOT to celebrate today, so because we are so excited, we have FIVE prizes for our FIVE years!

THREE random digis of choice will be given away for completing the hop today, as well as TWO grand prizes of the ENTIRE AUGUST RELEASE!

Just be sure to head down this list, and then back to the TGF BLOG letting us know you've finished the hop.  Be sure to leave a comment at each stop along the way.  You have until 11:45pm CST to finish hopping and we'll announce the winners during FFF tomorrow!  WOO HOO!

Thank you so much for celebrating TGF's big day with us!  As always, it's because of you that TGF is turning 5 with style and success.   Here's to the next 5!  Thank you, all!

CC Designs August Preview - Day Five

** Please go here if you would like to enter my Birthday Blog Candy **

Good morning everyone!  Today is the last day of previews for the new CC Designs August release.

Today I'm sharing an image by Roberto's Rascals called All Wrapped Up.  Looks like this little fella and his dog are having a lot of fun with the toilet paper lol!  My spooky spider is from the Halloween Logos rubber stamp set and the bats were cut using the CC Designs Cutters Bats Die.  All of our new images will be available in the shop today at 9 am EST.  Be sure to stop by the CC Designs Blog to see what the rest of the DT is sharing today!

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita
