The Greeting Farm's October Previews

CC Designs October Preview - Day One

Happy Monday to all of you!  I hope you had a fabulous weekend.  Today starts the release of the new CC Designs October stamps and dies and I know you're going to love them!  I have made two cards to share with you today.


I used this sweet little Rodney on my first card.  Isn't he a cutie?  He was so fast and easy to color too.  If you need to make a lot of holiday cards, this little guy would be so perfect!  I colored him with copics and colored pencils and used Glossy Accents on his nose.  I added some Glamour Dust on the bell around his neck and the snow on the ground.  The sentiment is from the new Joyful Greetings sentiment set.  


I used Christmas with Ralphie on my second card.  Again, I colored the image with copics and colored pencils and applied Glamour Dust on the tree lights.  The sentiment is from the new Happy Christmas sentiment set.

September YNS Challenge

Happy Friday to all of you!  There's still time to play along in the YNS Fun Friday September Challenge and the DT has some new projects to share with you this week.  Their monthly challenge includes a sketch and an inspiration photo.  You can choose to do one or both!




I went with the sketch this week and used a stamp from their new release, Silly Monsters.  I colored this cute little monster with copics and then used Glossy Accents on his eyeballs and tongue.  I added a few stars and the sweet little sentiment is part of the stamp set.  Be sure to stop by the YNS Challenge Blog to get all the details and to see what the rest of the team created this week.

Autumn

Hello!  I can definitely tell that autumn is here.  We've had some very cool evenings and mornings this week.  I love the fall and all the gorgeous colors, but I always have a hard time saying farewell to the summer :(  Anyway, I've got a fall card to share today, using the September release stamps from CC Designs.



I have used CC Designs Autumn Words and then used the CC Designs Cutter Stamp Label Die to cut out my sentiment.  The little squirrel and acorns were stamped with the Ralphie & Mr McNutterson stamp set and colored with copics and colored pencils.  I used a "Give Thanks" bingo card cut from a sheet of Simple Stories paper, and then finished my card with some hemp cording and a button.

Witchy Lou

Hello again friends!  Today is inspiration day over on the By LORi Designs Blog.  Lori has some of the most adorable Halloween images and the team has used them to share some fun ideas with you.

I used Frou Frou Fabulous for my card and colored her with copics and colored pencils.  I used a bit of Star Dust Stickles on my image because every girl needs a little bit of sparkle, right?  My papers are from the Sweetness Collection from Authentique - love these papers!

Good morning everyone!  Well, isn't the new Your Next Stamp release fabulous?  Today the YNS DT is sharing more projects featuring this release and they've invited me to play along.  


I used the Silly Monsters stamp set for my card today.  The sentiment is just one of many monster-themed sentiments that are included with the set.  I colored these silly monsters with copics and used some Glossy Accents on them.  A few buttons and some ribbon finished off my card.

Witchy Polly

Happy Monday to all of you!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  I have a Halloween card to share with you today.


This cute little witch is Witchy Polly and she's one of Jo Davies' new digi images from her Time For Tea Designs.  Well, I love Halloween so of course I had to color up this cutie ASAP!  She's colored with copics and colored pencils.  I applied Star Dust Stickles to the bubbles, and the star and moon on her cauldron.  Then I added a spiderweb in the corner, and some ribbon with a button.  Be sure to stop by Time For Tea Designs etsy shop to see all the adorable images Jo has available.

Your Next Stamp September New Release Blog Hop

For my second card I use the lovely Catherine and also colored her with copics and colored pencils. I added plenty of Star Dust Stickles to the candle flames and then finished my card with a bow.

Merry & Bright

Hello friends.  This is my third post for today ... yes, I have been very busy lol!  I have finished one more Christmas card to add to my stash.  Hopefully I won't be scrambling to come up with Christmas cards at the last minute this year :)



This adorable image is Gingerbread Cookies, a digi you can find over at Funky Kits.  Isn't she a cutie?  I colored her with my copics and colored pencils and used some Glamour Dust on her star wand and the snow-covered ground.  I added some seam binding and pearls for embellishments.  I also used one of my new Memory Box dies, Night Sky Border.  I hope you find some time to get inky this weekend :)

Along Comes Polly

Good morning everyone.  Today I'm sharing a card I made using one of Jo Davies' new Time For Tea Designs digital images.

Boo!

Happy Tuesday to all of you!  We have a new inspiration post over on the By LORi Designs Blog.  Lori has some adorable new Halloween images and the team has made some not-so-scary cards to share with you today :)


 I used Little Trick or Treat Gang on my card today ... aren't they the cutest?  I colored the gang with copics and colored pencils and added some white polka dots with acrylic paint.  I also used some Glamour Dust and Glossy Accents on my card.  The border punch is an old Martha Stewart punch I've had forever, and the papers are by Doodlebug Design.  I always love Doodlebug's Halloween line each year - such fun, bright colors!  Be sure to stop by the By LORi Designs Blog to see what the rest of this amazing team is sharing today.  You can find all of Lori's fabulous images in the shop here.

Winter Wonders Princess

Good morning friends.  I hope you're all enjoying your weekend!  I have a sweet Sugar Nellie card to share today and I've used one of our latest digi images from the Winter Wonders collection.


This is Princess ... isn't she lovely?  And she was so quick and easy to color too.  I know I'll be reaching for her for Christmas and birthday cards :)  I colored her with copics and colored pencils and then used Glamour Dust on her crown and the flower on her dress.  I added a doily and some sheer ribbon with a big bow and then tied on a sentiment.  I used a My Favorite Things Dienamic for the snowflakes and added pearls to the center of the snowflakes.  You can find Princess and the rest of the Winter Wonders collection over at Funky Kits.

A Note To Say Hello

Happy Thursday to all of you.  The weekend will be here soon ... yeah!  We've been having some extremely hot weather in my area and the weekend is promising some cooler temperatures so I'm really looking forward to that.  Don't get me wrong ... I love summer and hate to see it go.  But this week we've had some of the hottest days we've experienced all summer!  Crazy weather around here, I tell ya!  Anyway, today I'm popping on here to share a card using a digi from Time For Tea Designs.

Summer Fun

Hello again!  Today is Inspiration Tuesday over on the By LORi Designs Blog so we've got lots of new projects to share with you.


I used this sweet Lollipop Swimmer Finn on my card today.  I wanted to hang on to summer as long as I could so I figured I would make one more summer card before I move on to fall.  I colored him with copics and colored pencils and added some hemp cord and buttons.  Be sure to stop by the By LORi Designs Blog to see what the rest of the team has created.

Garden Variety Tuesday at TGF

Happy Tuesday everyone.  We are starting a new Garden Variety Tuesday Challenge over on the Greeting Farm Blog today.  This week is was Sandie's turn to choose our challenge theme and she as decided on "textures" ... easy peasy, right?


I used Frou Frou Fabulous on my card today.  She's one of the new September releases from The Greeting Farm.  I colored her with copics and colored pencils and used some Glamour Dust on her dress.  I added some lace, ribbon, and punched flowers with pearls.  Be sure to stop by the Greeting Farm Blog to see what the rest of the DT is sharing today, and to find out how to enter our challenge!

September Guest at Your Next Stamp

Good morning to all of you!  A couple of months ago I played along in a challenge over on the Your Next Stamp Challenge Blog and I was invited back this month as a guest to play along with their awesome DT! 


Every month Your Next Stamp posts a challenge that includes an inspiration picture and a sketch.  You can do one or both.  I decided to use both of them for my card today.  The adorable image I used is Teacher Fiona.  I colored her with copics and colored pencils and used some Glossy Accents on the apple on her headband.
