Sugar n' Spice

Good morning everyone!  I hope you had a fabulous weekend.  We had a cold and rainy/snowy Saturday but Sunday the weather was so nice - a little chilly still but the sun was shining!

We have a new inspiration post over on the La-La Land Crafts Blog.  Our inspiration is "hearts aflutter" so we want to see hearts and/or butterflies.  I used this sweet Sugar n' Spice Marci and colored her with copics and colored pencils.  I used a bit of Glamour Dust on her cupcake and added a little heart charm to the bow.  The gorgeous banner in the corner is from the Heart Banner Die.  This is one of my favorite dies ... I think I would use it on every card I make if I could lol!  I have been a guest with the La-La Crafts DT for the months of February and March so sadly this is my last post with them.  I want to thank Debbie and Irina for inviting me to play along with this group of talented and sweet ladies!  Of course that doesn't mean that I won't still be coloring these adorable little Marcis and Lukas!  Be sure to stop by the La-La Land Crafts Blog to see what the rest of this amazing team is sharing today.

Here is a list of the copics and pencils I used:
Skin - E21, E00, E000, R20, R11
Hair - E27, E23, E21
Clothes & Shoes - RV10, V000, YR30 and Prismacolor Pencils PC994, PC1034

Some Bunny Loves You

Happy Sunday everyone!  I hope you're having a fabulous weekend.  Once again, we're having some crazy weather here.  We had pouring rain yesterday that turned into snow showers in the early afternoon.  Hello Spring?  Where are you lol?  Well, it may be cold and snowing here but this cute little bunny tells me that Spring will eventually make it's way here!

This patchwork bunny is Some Bunny Loves You from the Time For Tea Designs etsy shop.  I colored the image with copics and colored pencils.  I added some Glossy Accents on the bunny nose and Liquid Applique on the tail.  I used the My Favorite Things banner diecut for all the banners.

Thank you for stopping by.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hey Chickie!

I have an Easter card to share today.  I've been seeing the most adorable Reverse Confetti cards over on my blogging buddy Sarah's blog and decided I needed to go on a little shopping trip :)  Well, of course, some of their fabulous stamps and dies jumped into my cart and I just had to buy them, didn't I?

Here is my first card using their sweet Carton Cuties stamps and Carton Cuties Confetti Cuts.  I know these stamps and dies are going to get a lot of use for Easter this year.  It doesn't really show in the photo but I added a little colored pencil shading around the egg carton, eggs, and the chick.  I adhered the carton to a vellum circle using some pop dots and then added some enamel dots to my card.  Lots of cute sentiments come with the stamp set too so be sure to pop over and check them out!

OK, I'm off to have lunch out with the hubby and then home to work on more cards.  We are having buckets of rain today so it sounds like a good day to color, right?

Thank you for stopping by.  Enjoy your weekend ... and I hope you're having nicer weather wherever you are!

We have a new inspiration post over on the La-La Land Crafts Blog.  Our inspiration this week is "fence it in" so of course we would like to see you use a fence on your creation!  I used this sweet Watercan Marci (with accessories) and colored her with copics.  Do you see the little bumblebees on the card?  Those little cuties are part of the stamp set too!  I used the Wrought Iron Fence Die  behind Marci and then added some pearls to the Scalloped Banner Die in the corner.  I used the Open Leaf Flourish Die and then added two flowers made with the Water Lily Flower Die.  The sentiment is also included with the stamp set.  I have to admit that I love this card.  It actually turned out exactly the way I had planned ... and that doesn't happen often lol!  Be sure to stop by the La-La Land Crafts Blog to see what the rest of this talented team has created this week.

Enjoy The Simple Things

Good morning all!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  We had a gorgeous Saturday here - sunny and warm.  But then it turned very cold again Sunday.  Geez, is spring ever going to arrive?  I'm sure it will but in the meantime we have a new inspiration post to share with you over on the La-La Land Crafts Blog this week.

Our inspiration this week is a "pinspiration picture" and the colors are simply gorgeous!  I used this cute little Beach Luka (with Sentiments) and colored him with copics.  I tore a piece of kraft paper and sponged the edge with brown ink for the "sand".  My background paper is from Carta Bella and I love this 6x6 pad!  I cut my "sun" with nestabilities and crinkled them a bit and then added a big orange button.  Be sure to stop by the La-La Land Crafts Blog to see what the rest of the team is sharing.

Here's a list of the copics I used:
Skin:  E21, E00, E000, R20

SugarPea Designs and The Deconstructed Sketch

Happy Thursday to all of you!  The weekend is almost here ... yay!  In the meantime there's a new Deconstructed Sketch and some of the SugarPea DT is joining in on the sketch.

I used Take A Load Off for my card today.  I love this set!  Just take a look at the inspiration on the SugarPea Designs Blog and you will see just how versatile this stamp set is - the possibilities are endless!  I colored these little undies with copics, fussy cut them and then popped them up on the diecut that has embossed clouds.  I added a little bit of twine, some mini-clothespins, and a few pearls.  See below for a photo of the complete stamp set.

Be sure to stop by the Deconstructed Sketch Blog to see what everyone created.  I hope you find some time to play along because SugarPea Designs is offering a $10 gift certificate to the challenge winner!

Thanks for stopping by!

This cute little bear is an older Pollycraft image.  You can find an almost identical image now over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps - Spencer's Party.  I have colored with copics and colored pencils and added some Glossy Accents to the bear's nose.  I used some StarDust Stickles on the bow on the gift and the star on the bear's hat.

It's One Layer at La-La Land Crafts!

Good morning everyone.  I hope you had a fabulous weekend.  We had some gorgeous weather with lots of sunshine.  Most of the snow in our yard has melted and I do believe spring is on it's way ... yay!!!  We have a new inspiration post to share with you over on the La-La Land Crafts Blog this week.

Our inspiration this week is "one layer" with the option of "good luck".  Well, as you can see, I decided to go with one layer.  I used this really sweet image Pinata Marci (with Sentiments).  Isn't she adorable?  I colored her with copics and colored pencil.  Since it's just the one layer without any added embellishments, I tried to use vibrant colors to really make the image pop.  Be sure to stop by the La-La Land Crafts Blog to see what the rest of the team is sharing today.

Happy Saturday everyone.  I hope you're all enjoying a great weekend.  I have had this adorable stamp set for awhile now and decided it was time to get some ink on it!

This cutie is Lulu from the Kraftin' Kimmie Lulu and Friends stamp set.  Love this image!  I didn't have much time so I thought I would just make a very CAS card with her.  She's colored with copics and colored pencils and then I added a heart banner across the top.  The sentiment comes with the set.  I thought this would be a great card to send to a friend ... just because.

7 Kids College Fund - Miss Frosty

( ** Please scroll down for my SugarPea Designs post ** )

Happy Thursday!  I know most of us are so tired of winter and ready for spring to arrive.  We've had a really cold and snowy winter here where I live.  I think we've seen more freezing temps and snow than we've had in many, many years.  So even though I'm ready for winter to be over, I couldn't resist coloring up one more snowman!

I used this adorable Miss Frosty by Sylvia Zet for Whimsy Stamps.  I absolutely love Sylvia's images!  I colored her with copics and colored pencils and added some Glossy Accents and lots of Glamour Dust.  I used a sentiment about friends but this stamp would also make a beautiful Christmas card.

Here are the supplies I used from the 7 Kids College Fund Store:
