You Shore Are Sweet

Happy Thursday friends ... it's almost the weekend (yeah!!!).  I have a cute little mermaid swimming around on my blog today.

This sweet mermaid is Mishell ... isn't she adorable?  Mishell was part of The Splash Collection that is no longer available (sad, I know).  But you can find lots of other beautiful mermaids in The Greeting Farm shop.  I colored this cutie with copics and applied Liquid Pearls to her little necklace.  I made this card for a sweet little girl that loves mermaids - I hope she likes it.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have an amazing day!

You Make Me Smile

Good morning everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card that I made for The Greeting Farm

Are you signed up to receive The Greeting Farm newsletter?  If so, you may have already seen my card in their "Here's A Tip" newsletter.  If you haven't signed up yet, be sure to do so.  I thought I'd pop on here and share my card with those that may not have already seen it.

I used the sweet Snuddle Anya and colored her with copics.  I wanted to add a little dimension to my card so I stamped, colored, and fussy cut an extra coffee mug and set of bunny slippers and used foam tabs to attach them onto the colored image.  You can't really see the dimension in this picture, but adding those elements with foam tape causes them to pop off the page a little.  This is a fun way to add some dimension to a card.  I used some cute paper from Doodlebug Design and then added some bright enamel dots.

Copics Used:
Skin - E13, E11, E21, E00, E000, R30
Hair - E44, E43, E42, E41
Shirt - RV66, RV55, RV63

Cup - BG05, BG01, B000
Slippers - C1, R00
Book - C3, C1
Ground - W2, W1, W0

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Hugs, Anita

A Little Jelly Told Me

Good morning everyone!  I wanted to pop in and share a card I made with a cute and fun Taylored Expressions stamp and die combo.

I used the Oceans of Fun stamp and die combo to make this birthday card.  I stamped the images on Neenah cardstock, colored them with copics, and then diecut them using the coordinating dies.  The cute pattern paper is by Doodlebug Design and I used Your Next Stamp's Stitched Rectangle Die to cut that paper.  I used a cloud die to create the "rocks" at the bottom of my watery scene.  The little "bubbles" are Doodlebug Design shape sprinkles.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

Paper Smooches - Hey Sugar!

Good morning!  I hope you're having an amazing week so far.  I used a fun set of stamps and dies from Paper Smooches to make this card.

This cute popsicle stamp is from the Sugar Rush set - lots of fun, sweet images in this set!  I colored the popsicles with copics ... not much coloring required though so that was quick & easy.  After I colored the images I cut them out using the Sugar Rush Icons Dies and then added some Wink of Stella clear glitter pen to them.  I made a round card using some dies from Spellbinders and My Favorite Things.  The bright striped paper and sparkly enamel dots are from Doodlebug Design.

Let's Chill

Good morning!  I've got a sweet little penguin to share with you today!

I finally got my hands on this adorable Penguins in Paradise stamp set and thought I'd color one of these cuties up for the latest sketch challenge over at My Favorite Things.  I cut a panel of watercolor paper and then used distress inks to watercolor a striped background.  I colored the penguin with copics and cut him out with the coordinating die-namics die.  The sun was diecut using an older die-namics that I think has been discontinued.  I stamped the sentiment and diecut it using the Die-namics Fishtail Flags Layers STAX.  Then I added a few sequins just to give my card a bit of sparkle.

Copics used:
Penguin - C5, C3, C1, R20, Y38, Y35, Y19
Tube - C3, R46, R24, R22

You Are So Sweet

Happy Sunday everyone!  I hope you're having a fun weekend.  I used a cute Avery Elle stamp and coordinating die to make today's card.

This fun image is from The Scoop clear stamp set.  Lots of cute images and matching sentiments too!  This image reminds me of my childhood.  We had an ice cream truck that came through our neighborhood every day.  As soon as we heard the music from that truck, we all ran in to ask our mother's for money to buy a treat.  I guess I'm showing my age here because I haven't seen an ice cream truck in years lol!  I colored the image with copics and used the coordinating Elle-ments dies to cut out the truck.  The die cuts out the window opening so I thought I'd add some acetate and make a shaker card.  I added some Glossy Accents to the truck's headlight, and then added a few enamel dots to finish my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

Just Chicken In

I thought the title of this post was perfect since it's been awhile since I've posted on my blog.  My mojo seems to have gone on an extended vacation ... if you run into it would you please tell it to come home lol?

I thought I'd pop on here and share a card I made before my mojo disappeared.  I used the cute Taylored Expressions' Happy Hens stamp and combo die.  I colored the chicks with copics and diecut them with the coordinating die.  I embossed the kraft cardstock with the Chicken Wire embossing folder and I used the Build A Scene - Calendar die to diecut the fence, grass, sun and clouds.

Thank you so much for stopping by!  I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
