Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

Toasty Greetings

I managed to get one more card done for the MFT 2016 Card Design Superstar challenge!

I mixed a couple of MFT's cutest sets.  The snowman, penguin, and fire are from the BB Toasty Greetings set and the deer, bunny, and bird are from the Sweet Forest Friends set.

I stamped the sentiment on a piece of watercolor paper, heat embossed it, and then sponged distress inks for the wintery sky.  I used the Die-namics Snow Drifts to cut a snowbank and adhered it to the cardfront.  I colored all the images with copics and then diecut them using the coordinating Die-namics dies.  I used a black glaze pen on all of the eyes and used a white gel pen to add the polka-dots to the penguin's hat.  I used my Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on the fire and then added Glossy Accents to the snowman's coat buttons.  I love the way this little scene turned out!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

I Will Always Be Here For You

Good morning!  I debated on entering the MFT 2016 Card Design Superstar challenge.  There are so many gorgeous cards that have been submitted but I figured I might as well give it a go.  I'm hoping to maybe slide in one more card before the challenge closes.

I think this sweet BB Adorable Elephants is one of my favorite MFT sets - I just love these cute elephants!  I colored the elephant and kite with copics and then diecut them using the Die-namics BB Adorable Elephants dies.  I cut a piece of watercolor paper and used distress inks to create the sky.  I used the smallest die from the Die-namics Circle Spinner Channels to create the slider area for the kite.  I used one of the Spin & Slide Discs on the kite - these handy discs make it so easy to create slider cards.  I used the Die-namics Rolling Hills die to cut the white fence from cardstock and to cut the grassy hill from the County Fair Plaid Paper Pack.  Then I added a frame around the little scene using the Die-namics Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frame.

There's still some time to enter the contest but it ends tonight so you need to act quickly.  You can find all the challenge details here.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a great day!

Hugs, Anita

Happy Fall Y'All

Good morning!  So I guess fall is on it's way whether I'm ready for it or not.  I actually love fall ... except that it signals the end of summer.  Anyway, I thought I'd share a fall card featuring a sweet little scarecrow.

This cute scarecrow is from the Scarecrows clear stamp from Pink and Main.  There are a couple of adorable scarecrows, accessory images, and fun sentiments included in this set so be sure to go check it out.  I colored the scarecrow and crow with copics and diecut them with the Scarecrow Dies.  I added some polka-dots on one of the patches with a white gel pen and used my Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on the overall buttons.  I used a black glaze pen on the scarecrow eyes and the bird's eyes, and then applied some Glossy Accents to the bird's beak and claws.  I used some colorful Doodlebug Design papers on my card and finished it with a few of their matte sprinkle dots.  If you live in my area you can find all the supplies to make this card at The Paper Cottage.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

The Challenge #78 - Inspiration Challenge

Good morning friends!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for our new challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.

Our challenge this week is an inspiration challenge and we have a beautiful picture to inspire you.  I stamped the pineapple from SugarPea Designs' Pineapple Paradise and then diecut it using the SugarCuts - Pineapple Paradise die.  The awesome sentiment is also from that stamp set.  I sponged some blue ink on the cardstock panel and adhered the pineapple with some foam dots.  I used Your Next Stamp's Stripe-Tastic Edge stamp to add the pink stripes at the bottom of the panel.  I added a few sequins to add some sparkle to my card.

Be sure to stop by The Challenge to see the fabulous projects by the rest of the DT.  I hope you find some time to play along in the challenge.
