You're Owlsome!

Good morning everyone!  I've got another fun card using some stamps and dies from Sunny Studio Stamps.

I used the Happy Owl-o-ween and Halloween Cuties stamps and dies for this card.  The Happy Owl-o-ween set features an adorable owl and the cutest little Halloween costumes for the owl to wear!  You need to stop by the shop to check out all the images that are included in this set.  The pumpkin and bats are from the Halloween Cuties set that was released last year.  These two stamp sets work so well together.  I colored all the stamped images with copics and diecut them with the coordinating dies.  I diecut a stitched rectangle panel and used distress inks in Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers (two of my favorite colors).  I adhered the owl and pumpkin with foam tape for some dimension and added a few sequins for some sparkle.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

Count Dracula

Good morning everyone, I hope you had a fabulous weekend!  Today I'm sharing another sweet image from Sassy Cheryl's.

This not-so-scary Halloween stamp is Count Dracula.  I think he's so cute!  I printed him on Neenah, colored him with copics, and then fussy cut him.  I used distress inks to create the grass, night sky and moon.  I added a diecut tree, fence, and bats to complete my scene.  You can find more adorable digis over at Sassy Cheryl's Stamps.

Colors used:
Skin - E13, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20

Guest DT - Sunny Studio Stamps August Release

Good morning everyone!  I've got some fun cards featuring the Sunny Studio Autumn Release.  I was so excited when Mendi, the owner of Sunny Studio Stamps, asked me to be a guest designer using these adorable new stamp sets!

I used the Happy Owl-o-ween stamps and dies for this card.  This stamp set features an adorable owl and the cutest little Halloween costumes for the owl to wear!  Be sure to stop by the shop and check out all the images that are included in this set.  I know I'm going to have so much fun with this set - the possibilities are endless!  I colored all the stamped images with copics and diecut them with the coordinating dies.  The broom and bats are from the Halloween Cuties set that was released last year (another must-have Halloween set!).  I used distress inks on watercolor paper for the night sky and the moon, spattered some water, and then dried the drops with a towel.  I stamped the sentiment on the moon and then adhered the stamps with foam tape for some dimension.

I also used the Happy Owl-o-ween stamps and dies to make this card.  I have to say I think that little bumble bee costume may be my favorite!  And by simply changing the hats, the witch costume becomes a fairy costume!  I colored all the stamped images with copics and diecut them with the coordinating dies.  The spiderweb, spider, and bats are from the Halloween Cuties set.  I used distress inks to sponge the grassy area, and then used distress inks and a cloud stencil to create the sky.  I stamped the spider web directly onto my card and adhered all the other images with foam tape.  I applied Glamour Dust to the bee's wings and antennae, and the fairie's wand for a little bit of sparkle.

For my last card I used the Missing Ewe stamp set.  Aren't these little sheep the cutest ever?  I colored them with copics and diecut them with the coordinating dies.  Once again I used distress inks and a cloud stencil to create the background.  I stamped the sentiment directly onto my card and also stamped a little heart in the area where the missing ewe would be standing.  These little sheep are very quick and easy to color so if you're short on time they're the perfect images for a fast card!

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

Sending You Sunshine & Smiles

Good morning everyone!  Today I'm sharing a sweet image from Sassy Cheryl's.

This cute digi is called First Love.  I love this little guy and the sweet look on his face is just adorable!  I printed him on Neenah and diecut the panel with a Stitched Rectangle Die.  I colored him with copics and then masked him.  I used distress inks to create the grass and the clouds.  The sun was diecut and then I stamped a little smiley face on it.  I thought this sentiment would be perfect for this card.  You can find lots of awesome digis over at Sassy Cheryl's Stamps.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a day full of sunshine and smiles!

Hugs, Anita

You're Grrreat

Good morning!  I'm popping on today to share another project for My Favorite Thing's Camp Create.

This little cutie is from the BB Party Like A Pirate set.  I colored the image with copics then diecut it using the coordinating die-namics.  I used a black glaze pen on the Pirate's eyes.  I cut the two ovals with the MFT Pierced Oval Stax die-namic.  I masked the smaller oval and sponged distress ink to create the sand.  Next, I masked the sand and used the Cloud Stencil to sponge the clouds with distress ink.  I stamped the skull image from the stamp set with Versamark ink onto my card base and heat embossed the skulls with white embossing powder.  Next, I blended distress ink onto my card base and then wiped the excess ink off the skulls with a clean paper towel.

I'm entering my card in the My Favorite Things Camp Create Day 2 - Magnificent Masking.

Thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hugs, Anita

Good morning!  I hope your weekend is off to a great start!  Today I'm sharing a fun card I made using some My Favorite Things products.

Aren't these Cuddly Koalas adorable?  I used the Stitched Circle STAX die-namic to diecut a circle and then used distress inks to sponge on some color.  I colored the koalas and branches with copics and then diecut them using the coordinating die-namics.  I used a black glaze pen on the koala eyes and added Glossy Accents to their noses.  I stamped the sentiment on a banner I cut using the Fishtail Flags STAX die-namic.  Lastly, I added a few enamel dots to finish my card.

The Challenge #94 - Inspiration

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for our new challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.

Our challenge this week is an inspiration challenge and we have a bright and cheerful picture to inspire you.  I used Cupcake Anya from The Greeting Farm.  I couldn't find her in the TGF Shop so I think she may be a retired image.  I colored Anya, her balloon, and the banner with copics.   I used Distress Inks for the ground and the clouds.  The balloon is a diecut from My Favorite Things and I used a black marker to draw the balloon string to her hand.  The banner and sentiment are from SugarPea Designs.

Be sure to stop by The Challenge to see what the rest of the DT created this week.  I hope you find some time to play along in the challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita
