Keeping Christmas - Season's Greetings

Welcome to the Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop!  If you are looking for some inspiration for Christmas cards, you have come to the right place.  Our team has decided to do a monthly Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop! We will be sharing Christmas creations on the 25th of each month.

The whole idea is to have some Christmas cards and projects in our stash all ready to go for December 2018!

I stamped an adorable snowman from Gerda Steiner Designs' Snowman Friends clear stamp set and colored it with my copics.  I added some Glamour Dust to the hat for a bit of sparkle.  I fussy-cut the snowman then used a black glaze pen on the snowman's eyes and Nuvo Crystal glaze on the buttons and jingle bell.  I cut a circle of watercolor paper, applied distress ink, spattered it with water, and adhered this to my cardbase.  I used the My Favorite Things Stitched Circle Frames Die-namics to cut the window frame and then adhered acetate and added sequins to make the shaker.  I diecut a snowflake, covered it with Glamour Dust, and added a red enamel dot to the center.  I adhered the snowman and snowflake to the shaker frame.

Copics Used:
Snowman - BV20, BG70, R20, R00
Snowman Nose - E08, YR18, YR14, YR12
Snowman Hat - YG17, YG03, YG01
Jinglebell - Y26
Scarf - R59, R46, R24, R22
Buttons - C7

Please hop along and be sure to visit each of the blogs.  There's lots of inspiration and ideas to get your creative juices flowing!

Yay! Yay! Yay! It's Your Birthday!

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a card featuring an adorable Birdie Brown stamp set from My Favorite Things.

I fell in love with these cute BB Birthday Chicks stamps as soon as I saw them.  Of course, I always love everything Birdie Brown lol.  I started by using the Die-namics Gift Box Cover-Up to cut the window frame from cardstock.  The pretty papers behind the windows are from the Sweet Celebration Paper Pack ... I love the bright colors and pretty patterns in this pad.  I colored the birds and balloons with copics and then diecut them with the coordinating dies.  I used acetate, foam tape and sequins to create a shaker card.  I used a black glaze pen on the birds' eyes.  I used a white gel pen to create the white dots and highlights on the balloons, bird cheeks, and cupcakes.  I used a Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on the balloons to give them a little bit of sparkle.

Copics used:
Yellow - Y15, Y13, Y11, Y00
Orange - YR18,YR14, YR12
Blue - BG05, BG01, B000
Green - YG03, YG25, YG21
Pink - RV55, RV63, RV52
Brown - E31

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

I Love You

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a card featuring an adorable stamp set from Neat & Tangled.

I bought this stamp set intending to make some Valentine cards but time got away from me.  So I figured instead of an actual Valentine, I would create a card that can be sent any time you want to let someone special know you're thinking of them.  This cute image is from the Beavers Eh stamp set.  If you haven't seen this set, be sure to check it out ... lots of cute beavers and sweet sentiments too.  I colored this girl beaver and her little mouse with copics and then added some Nuvo Crystal Glaze to her nose and teeth for some shine.  I used a white gel pen to make some polka-dots on her bow and skirt, and then added a few sequins for some sparkle.  I also sponged some distress ink on the cardbase before adhering the beaver with foam tape.  I used a black glaze pen on the mouse's eyes.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

I would like to enter my card in the following challenge:

I used the The Snuggle Is Real and Hey Pretty Kitty stamps and dies for my card.  I colored these adorable girls and their furry friends with copics.  I added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the eyeglasses.  I used a black glaze pen on the dogs' eyes and a white gel pen to make polka dots on the pink blouse.  I used distress oxide inks to create the inky background and then flicked on water to create the spots.  I adhered the images with foam tape and then added a couple of clouds and a sun diecut.

So Beary Sweet

Good morning!  I've got a sweet girly card featuring one of the chibi kids by Stamp Anniething.

I recently discovered the adorable stamps over at Stamp Anniething and just had to place an order.  This sweet stamp, Taylor - So Beary Sweet, is from the order I received a few days ago.  I love this cute little girl holding her teddy bear ... she's adorable!  I colored her with copics  and popped her up with foam tape onto some pretty papers from the Romance collection by Simple Stories.  The banner across the top is a cardboard sticker by Simple Stories.  I have to admit I almost never use stickers on my cards but I love everything in this Romance collection.  The sentiment is included with this stamp set.  I added a few sequins to my card for some sparkle.

Copics Used:
Skin - E13, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20
Hair - E59, E57, E23, E21

Good morning everyone, I hope you had a wonderful and relaxing weekend!  Today I'm sharing a quick and simple Valentine card.
